Absolutely loved my visit to 7am Cafe in Balwyn! I had the special soft shell crab capellini and it was amazing! The crab was crispy, fresh, and full of flavour, perfectly paired with the pasta. I also tried their granola which was beautifully presented and super refreshing, with just the right balance of crunch and sweetness. The vibe of the cafe is relaxed and stylish, and the service was friendly and attentive. Definitely a new favourite brunch spot. Highly recommend!

Such a great find in Balwyn! I tried the soft shell crab capellini special and it was absolutely delicious light yet full of flavour, with perfectly cooked pasta and crispy crab. I also had the granola, which was super fresh, beautifully plated, and a nice contrast to the main dish. The cafe has a really welcoming vibe, lovely decor, and the staff were warm and attentive. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu!

My friend recommended going to 7AM when visiting Melbourne. he food is well presented and absolutely delicious! Only thing is they do get busy on a weekend and we waited a while for our order to be taken, but it was definitely worth it!

The crab was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and paired perfectly with the flavorful spaghetti. The scallops were seared just right—sweet, juicy, and served on a bed of silky linguine. A satisfying and indulgent brunch that’s definitely worth a revisit.

The amazing thing is no surcharge on weekends and public holidays Food are quite good, personally I really like soft shell capellini, yummy The vibe is quite cozy, it was a bit busy on Easter Sunday, lucky we booked a table earlier. And I do love their coffee

Such a hidden gem in Balwyn! Came here for the famous soft-shell crab pasta and it did not disappoint – so flavorful and generous in portion. Surprisingly, the creamy mushroom soup stole the show for me, absolutely delicious and comforting. The café has a warm and welcoming vibe with plenty of natural light, perfect for a relaxed brunch. Hard to believe they’ve been around for almost 10 years – definitely a local favorite worth visiting!

Tried the deep-fried soft shell crab spaghetti and the scallops linguine — both were so good! The crab was super crispy and went really well with the sauce, and the scallops were fresh and cooked just right. Also had an iced latte and an iced matcha — both drinks were smooth and refreshing, perfect for the warm day. Would totally come back for another round!

bsolutely loved the brunch at 7AM! The soft shell crab pasta was incredibly flavorful — perfectly cooked pasta with a delicious balance of spices and textures. Easily one of the best I’ve had in Melbourne. Their coffee was also top notch — smooth, rich, and brewed just right. Great atmosphere and friendly service too. Will definitely be back!
